Sponsoring A Ladies Golf Tournament in Nairobi

Arnold Palmer (American professional golfer who is generally regarded as one of the greatest and most charismatic players in the sport’s history) once said that, Golf is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated. We couldn’t agree more with that statement.

On 14th June, 2017, Tatu Creatives Ltd got the rare opportunity of being one of the sponsors at a women’s golfing tournament at Vetlab Golf Club (one of Kenya’s top golfing clubs boasting of an 18-hole golf course), in Loresho, Nairobi. Vet Lab has evolved over the years with improvement of key facilities among them the recently renovated club house, the modern changing rooms, state of the art Life fitness gym facility, a soccer pitch, jogging track and the general pristine golf course to what is today a modern facility aligned to international golfing standards.

The competition, dubbed Ladies Medal No.6, brought together various women in golfing in different categories and had a Scratch Score of 72 (Ladies – Red Tees). Mary Karano (gross score of 70) emerged as the Division 1 winner with her runner up being Rachel Wachuka Ndei (score of 74). In Division 2, the lead was taken by Nelius Kariuki (score of 71) and the runner up being Alice Kariuki (score of 73).

The award ceremony was presided over by Mr. Jeff Muchina of Tatu Creatives Ltd, who also delivered the keynote speech of the event. During his speech, he highlighted some of the innovative projects Tatu Creatives Ltd was working on across various industries.

This sponsorship was made possible through Nucleus Five of Prof J. H. Kimura courtesy of our partnership with Loresho Digital.
